Engender Equality in Humanitarian Action is a feminist consultancy company.
Our approach to advancing gender equality within humanitarian action is action-oriented and holistic, informed by years of experience, best practices and evidence and coupled with strong intersectional feminist politics and practice.
We work with a diverse range of stakeholders, with feminist consultants. Led by Nina Gora (she/her) who is the Founder and Principal Consultant for Engender Equality.

Her approach to gender equality in humanitarian action is rooted in fifteen years of experience working to protect and empower women and girls in humanitarian settings, including in Afghanistan, Bangladesh (Cox’s Bazar), DRC, Greece, Iraq, Nigeria, Palestine, Syria, Yemen.
​
Her experience in both mainstreaming and in stand-alone programming has served to address gender inequalities both within the workplace and at household, community and national levels.
Significant experience in strategy, tool and guidance development, research, advocacy, capacity strengthening, and programme design, implementation and monitoring at country, regional and global levels, including with Oxfam and Save the Children where she was the Global Head of Gender Equality in Humanitarian.
Additional experience at grassroots level as co-founder of Action for Women, a growing women’s rights organisation for refugee and asylum-seeking women’s protection and empowerment in Greece.
